Indications for use

Spazgel treatment is indicated for diseases and conditions: acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system (rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis, arthrosis, osteochondrosis); injuries of the musculoskeletal system (including sports), sprains, ruptures of ligaments and tendons of muscles, tendonitis, injuries of muscles and ligaments, edema, phlebitis, lymphangitis, inflammatory processes of the skin.
Active ingredient, group:
Ketoprofen (Ketoprofen), NSAIDs
Dosage Form:
Gel for external use

Contraindications

Spazgel hypersensitivity to components, moist dermatosis, eczema, infected abrasions, wounds.

Dosage and administration (instructions)

The gel is applied (rubbing movements) 2-3 times a day with a thin layer, followed by a long and careful rubbing into the inflamed or painful areas of the body. After rubbing the gel, a dry dressing can be applied. Also, the gel can be used for phonophoresis.

Pharmachologic effect

The use of Spazgel has a local anti-inflammatory, antiexudative and analgesic effect. In the form of a gel, it provides topical treatment for lesions of the joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles, skin, veins, lymph vessels and lymph nodes. It has no catabolic effect on articular cartilage.
When articular syndrome causes a weakening of arthralgia at rest and when moving, reducing morning stiffness and swelling of the joints.

Side effects

Allergic reactions to Spazgel components: skin flushing, photosensitivity, skin rash, purpura.

Special instructions

Avoid getting the gel on the mucous membranes and eyes.

Interaction Spazgel with other drugs

Co-administration of Spazgel with sodium valproate causes a disturbance of platelet aggregation.
Reduces the effect of antihypertensive drugs and diuretics (inhibition of Pg synthesis).
Increases the hypoglycemic effect of insulin and oral hypoglycemic drugs (dose recalculation is required).
The simultaneous appointment of Spazgel with oral anticoagulants, heparin, thrombolytics, antiplatelet agents, cefaperazon, cefamandol, cefotetanom and moxalactam increases the risk of bleeding.
The use of Spazgel increases the plasma concentration of verapamil and nifedipine.
