Composition

    sodium hyaluronate, D-panthenol (provitamin B5), chondroin sodium sulfate, sodium phosphate monosubstituted, sodium di-phosphate, EDTA, sodium tetraborate, sodium chloride, distilled water

pharmachologic effect

A special property of the molecules of sodium hyaluronate, D-panthenol and sodium chondroitin sulfate is the expressed ability to bind a large number of water molecules. Having the necessary viscosity and high adhesive properties with respect to the anterior part of the eye, the Stillavit solution containing these substances forms a tear film that is uniform and stable for a long time and which does not wash off when blinking and does not cause a decrease in visual acuity.

Stillavit solution:

    moisturizes, lubricates and restores the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva;
    brings rapid relief when dry and irritated eyes;
    eliminates discomfort when wearing contact lenses;
    relieves fatigue with intense visual load (with prolonged use of the computer and time spent in front of the TV, when driving at night, etc.).

Stillavit, indications for use

The solution of Stillavit is used for additional moistening, lubrication and protection of the anterior surface of the eye (cornea and conjunctiva), elimination of discomfort at the sensation of "dryness", foreign body sensation, burning in the eyes, including those arising under the influence:
    Climatic factors (use of air conditioners, split systems, steam heating, exposure to massive ultraviolet radiation, etc.).
    Medical and environmental factors (air pollution by industrial waste and road transport, soil pollution by chemicals in agriculture).
    Medico-social factors ("aging" of the population and associated with age-related changes, more frequent instillations of eye drops, the taking of various kinds of medications, total computerization of schools and offices, widespread use of contact correction of sight and methods of eye microsurgery to eliminate defects in the organ of vision, etc.) Individual intolerance to the components of Stillavit.

Dosing and Administration

It is recommended to instill a solution of Stillavit 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye 2-3 or more times a day. If the incidence of instillation is more than 10 times a day, you should consult with an ophthalmologist about the absence of epithelial defects and corneal lesions.
A solution of Stillavit can be used when wearing all types of contact lenses; the solution can be used without removing contact lenses from the eyes; to achieve an additional effect, you should instill 1-2 drops of solution into each lens before putting on.

The solution of Stillavit should not be used:
    with increased sensitivity to any of the components of the solution;
    with damaged packaging;
    after the expiry date;
    1 month after opening the vial.
In the case of reactions such as eye irritation or discomfort that persists for several days, discontinue use of the solution and consult an ophthalmologist.

Drug Interactions

In the case of the joint application of the solution of Stillavit with other ophthalmic preparations, it is recommended to observe the interval between application of eye drops and this solution for at least 30 minutes. Eye ointments should be used after instillation of the solution of Stillavit.
