Composition

In 100 ml of the solution Aekol contains 180 mg of alpha-tocopherol acetate and betacaren, menadione - 50 ml and retinol + excipients (sunflower oil).

Form of issue

The preparation is released as an orange-red oily liquid in vials of 100 ml or 50 ml capacity. There is one bottle in the cardboard pack.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

The combined remedy, thanks to vitamins included in its composition, promotes rapid healing of wounds, accelerates and stimulates reparation. Has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect, normalizes the permeability of tissues and capillaries, has a hemostatic effect.
Pharmacokinetic properties of the drug were not studied.

Indications for use

The medication is prescribed internally as part of a combination therapy:
    with ulcer of stomach and duodenum;
    in conditions after resection of the stomach or isolated selective proximal vagotomy;
    for the treatment of ulcerative colitis and proctosigmoiditis.
Often the drug is used in cosmetology, for hair care.

Also the preparation is used:

    for the healing of cracks in the mucosa of the rectum (including in the states after excision of these cracks);
    with scleroderma, hemorrhoids;
    for treatment of decubital ulcers (bedsores), trophic, varicose ulcers;
    with erosion of the cervix, colpitis, endocervicitis;
    patients with purulent-necrotic wounds, burns of 2 and 3 degrees;
    after autodermoplasty.

Contraindications

The remedy can not be used if there is an allergy to any of its components.
When ingestion, the medicine is contraindicated:
    pregnant and confused women;
    with hypervitaminosis A, E, thyrotoxicosis;
    children under 14 years;
    with chronic pancreatitis, cholelithiasis, severe hepatic insufficiency;
    persons suffering from obesity;
    in the acute period after myocardial infarction;
    with severe cardiosclerosis, heart failure in the stage of decompensation;
    patients with chronic glomerulonephritis, nephritis, hypercoagulability;
    alcoholics;
    with thromboembolism, sarcoidosis or deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.

Side effects

When ingesting the most common adverse reactions are diarrhea and allergy to the drug (hives, itching, dry skin, swelling, yellow-orange spots on the soles).

Also may appear:

    headache, drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, irritability, insomnia;
    uneven gait, pain in the lower limbs;
    discomfort in the epigastric region, distortion of taste, a feeling of heat, convulsions, increased intraocular pressure, a slight increase in body temperature;
    nocturia, polyuria;
    dry mouth, indigestion, nausea, diarrhea, weight loss, loss of appetite;

    sensitivity to light, hair loss, irregularities in the menstrual cycle, hyperbilirubinemia, hypercalcemia.
As a rule, after a decrease in dosage + ovki or after the drug is discontinued, the side effects go by themselves.
If the product is applied locally, hypersensitivity reactions on the skin may occur, the inflammation may worsen (after 7-10 days of use, the reaction does not require treatment).
If very high doses of Aekol developed hypotrombinemia, creatinuria, fainting, bleeding in the digestive tract, then the medication should be stopped.

Aekol, instructions for use (method and dosage)

Inside. Half an hour before meals. Single dose is 5-10 ml of the drug (1 or 2 teaspoons), 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 30-45 days. If necessary, the course can be repeated in six months.
Also, the drug is used topically in the form of tampons, microclysters (up to 50 ml). Duration of use of the drug is 10-15 days.
An oily liquid is applied to the skin surface in the form of dressings and applications. The pre-affected area is cleared of necrotic formations. The bandage is applied once every two days. The application is carried out until the epithelization and granulation of the skin begins.

Instructions for use of Aekol in cosmetology

The product is added to the hair mask, most often mixed with olive oil, lemon juice. The resulting mixture is rubbed into the scalp and applied over the entire length of the hair.
Apply Aekol for the face to soften the skin. Vitamins included in the product provide nutrition, skin renewal, improve microcirculation in the upper layers of the epidermis. Aekol is applied to the skin of the face with a thin layer after masks from clay or other cosmetic procedures.

Overdose

With local use, the symptoms of overdose manifest themselves in the form of local allergic reactions. In this case, the drug should be removed from the skin and seek advice and selection of another drug to the doctor.
After receiving patients with doses of the drug for a long time inside may develop hypervitaminosis A, E or K.
Hypervitaminosis A manifests itself in the form of irritability, confusion, diarrhea, dehydration and even loss of consciousness. On the skin may appear rashes, gums begin to bleed. Interaction

Aekol can not be combined with the use of estrogens, cholestyramines, nitrites, preparations of iron and silver, anticoagulants of indirect action.
Vitamin A, which is part of the drug, reduces the anti-inflammatory effect of glucocorticosteroids. The component can not be combined with acetylsalicylic acid, hydrochloric acid, vaseline oil.
