For adults and young patients from 6 months is recommended to apply the cream in a small amount on the affected areas 1-3 times a day. With the improvement of the use of the cream is reduced to 1-3 times a week.
Improving the effectiveness of treatment helps correct application - the cream should be applied with massaging movements, and in some diseases - under the occlusive dressing. At the same time, for use during the week, 30-60 g are prescribed. The therapeutic course is set individually for each specific case, depending on the condition of the patients and the course of the disease.

Overdose

If you use the recommended dosage when using the cream, you can avoid its overwhelming effect on the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system.
Prolonged use of the cream in high dosages, especially under occlusive dressings, can increase the content of cortisol in the blood plasma. However, they apply it with extreme caution, as they are afraid that a strong action could adversely affect their body. This means that patients need to strictly observe the dosage of the drug and the doctor's prescription. Although the development of side effects, none of the users reported.
Thus, Locoid Lipocream is indeed one of the highly effective drugs used in the treatment of dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis. At the same time, the main thing is not to self-medicate, since an illiterate approach to the treatment of such diseases can significantly aggravate the situation.
