It has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and anti-edematous effect, which is realized by reducing the level of proinflammatory mediators in the focus of the pathological reaction.
Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent of a broad spectrum of activity that suppresses the synthesis of the ergosterol of the cell wall of pathogenic (pathogenic) and opportunistic fungi, leading to their death. Has sufficient activity against microspores, erythrophyton, phytospores, trichophyton.
Gentamicin, an antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group, suppresses the synthesis of protein compounds in bacterial cells, which results in their death or stopping of growth. This antibiotic has sufficient activity against a significant number of different types of gram-positive (streptococcus, staphylococcus) and gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Proteus, Klebsiella, Enterobacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria.
After applying the ointment or cream Triderm on the skin, the active ingredients of the drug are adsorbed into the skin, where they have a therapeutic effect. They are practically not absorbed into the systemic circulation.

Indications for use

The use of a cream or ointment Triderm is indicated for various inflammatory skin diseases caused by various microorganisms sensitive to the active components of the preparation:
Dermatitis (inflammation of the skin), which has a toxic, bacterial or allergic origin.
Atopic dermatitis is an allergic pathology, which basically has an innate origin.
Limited neurodermatitis is a chronic inflammatory process that develops due to a violation of the innervation of the skin.
Dermatomycosis - fungal infections caused by various pathogens, including dermatophytosis, pink lichen, candidiasis.
Also, the drug is used for the complex therapy of eczema, which represents non-contagious chronic inflammation of the skin, which has an autoimmune component in its development.

The cream is intended for the treatment of an acute inflammatory process, which is accompanied by wetting, and the ointment is used in the chronic course of the pathological process. The duration of therapy is determined by the nature and cause of the inflammatory process, as well as by its localization on the skin. If within 3-4 weeks there is no clinical improvement, then a diagnosis should be revised with possible correction of therapeutic tactics.

Sometimes, against the background of their use, there may be signs of skin irritation in the application area, which may include redness, burning, itching, pigmentation, increased peeling.     With prolonged use in large areas of the skin, the drug can lead to the development of negative side reactions associated with the systemic effects of the glucocorticosteroid included in its composition, including a decrease in the functional activity of the adrenal glands.
Absorption of the main active ingredients will be higher in the case of applying a cream or ointment Tridentum to the damaged skin.
The drug can be given to children over the age of 2 years only for strict medical purposes.
