Cavinton tablets - what are they from? The main large active ingredient is vinpocetine. Refers to a group of cerebrovazodilating agents. LS improves cerebral metabolism, cerebral circulation, rheological properties of blood. Cavinton has a cerebroprotective effect, significantly reduces the severity of the damaging effects of amino acids, inhibits the activity of transmembrane calcium, sodium channels, AMPA receptors, NMDA. Cavinton has a potentiating effect on the neuroprotective effect of adenosine. Vinpocetine improves digestion, improves absorption, metabolism of oxygen and glucose by the brain. The drug is able to shift the metabolism of glucose into a more beneficial energy aerobic direction. Stimulates cerebral metabolism of serotonin and norepinephrine, has an antioxidant, stimulating effect on the noradrenergic system.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Cavinton selectively improves cerebral circulation: an increase in the cerebral fraction of the minute volume of blood, the level of resistance of the blood vessels of the brain, ES, minute volume, blood pressure, OPSS).
