Form of issue

pharmachologic effect
The main active ingredient is GPC-glucosaminoglycan-peptide complex. Refers to a group of active biogenic stimulators of animal origin, has a pronounced chondroprotective (protective) effect, reduces the activity of most enzymes that have a destructive effect on the cartilaginous surface of the joint.
Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics
Rumalon inhibits catabolic processes, stimulates the biosynthesis of mucopolysaccharides (sulfated), improves the metabolism in the structure of hyaline tissue.
The preparation contains concentrated purified extract from cartilage tissue, bone marrow calves or other young animals.
LS stimulates the restoration of the structure of the cartilaginous tissue of the joint due to the increased production of glucosaminoglycans, collagen, which act as a building material.
Rumalon reduces the activity and the pronounced effect of enzymes that destroy cartilaginous tissue, stimulates the development of "lubrication" of the joint, improves the nutrition of the joint, cartilage tissue.
Rumalon slows the progression of osteoarthritis (thinning of the cartilaginous plate, change in the surface of the articular cartilage).
Indications for use
Various degenerative joint diseases: spondylosis, arthrosis, coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, chondromalacia (cartilage necrosis process), meniscopathy (a disease of the cartilage lining of the knee joint, characterized by pain, functional disorders), spondyloarthrosis.
Contraindications
Rheumatoid arthritis, hypersensitivity, allergy to components.
The drug is not used in pediatric practice. It is not recommended for children under 12 years.

Rumalon, instructions for use (Method and dosage)
According to the instructions for use Rumalon is injected deep into the muscle according to the scheme: 0.3 ml on the first day, 0.5 ml on the second day, then 1 ml three times a week for 6 weeks.
