Composition
1 ml of the preparation of the active ingredient (sodium chondroitin sulfate) is contained in the amount of 100 mg + excipients (benzyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, sodium disulfite, water purified).
Form of issue
Ampoules with a transparent colorless or slightly yellow solution, 1 and 2 ml, 5 or 10 pieces per package. The liquid has a specific smell of benzyl alcohol.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics
The active substance of the drug - chondroitin sulfate promotes the restoration of cartilaginous tissue and the reduction of degenerative changes in the joints by stimulating the synthesis of proteoglycans. There is a stimulation of synthesis of glucosaminoglycans, irreplaceable for cartilage tissue.
Pain in the joints is reduced, phosphorus-calcium metabolism is restored, the rate of inflammation of the synovial membrane of the joint decreases and, consequently, the destruction of the cartilage.
Half an hour after the administration of the drug, it reaches its maximum concentration in the blood plasma. The active substance is released within two days.
Indications for use
Chondrogard injections are prescribed for osteochondrosis and osteoarthritis of the spine or joints on the periphery.
Contraindications

Side effects
Allergic reactions to the skin and inflammation at the injection site are possible.
Instructions for use Chondrogard (Method and dosage)
The injections are administered intramuscularly. The daily dose is 0.1 g. Between the first injections take a break in one day. If necessary, already in the 4th injection you can increase the dose to 0.2 g.
Injection drugs produce from 25 to 30 pieces. Repeat the course is advisable in six months.
